I played eight matches in one day at Pierre, South Dakota and I won 7 of them. I finished 1st in the U16s and U18s and 2nd in the Open event. I became more focused and I played better the more tired I was and the more I ached.

  v Best results:

I beat two girls from Saskatchewan in 2005 who had defeated me a year ago 6-0 6-1. I was #1 U16 and U18 at Prairie Regionals in Regina.

I beat 2 college tennis girls in Pierre, South Dakota last year. One of the two best tournaments of my life tennis-wise and I was never more focused and patient and able to convert my frustration into positive energy that improved my play. I figured out what helps me and what doesn't in tennis.

Win the Manitoba Open, finish top 15 at Junior Nationals, and earn a full tennis scholarship to a very good school in the US (New York, Florida or California).

I played my first U14 Nationals at age 10 and won 2 matches. I placed 5th at the 2005 U12 Nationals. I was also a quarter-finalist at the 2005 Manitoba Open, where it took Doug DeVriendt to stop my run!

To beat my brother, Sean.
To win a National Title.
To represent Canada in the 2012 Summer Olympics

I was in the final of a challenger in Grand Forks against Jordan Wilding last summer and it was a really hot day. All of a sudden clouds covered the sky and sirens went off. A park ranger told us that a tornado was coming yet Jordan and I were determined to finish the match.

In 2005 I was ranked #1 for U12 girls in Manitoba leading up to the Outdoor Nationals and then completed the year as #1 in Manitoba for U14.

To be ranked in the top 16 at the next indoor/outdoor nationals and to earn a scholarship to a school in the U.S.

My first match at the U12 Junior Nationals in Quebec (2005). I was going to play with a dream to win at least one game, I was up 6-4,5-1 and had 4 match points but lost the match. It was a very strange feeling as it had never happened to me before. I cried for an hour.

My first ever tournament match win in Grand Forks, N.D. in the winter of 2004 AND my first match win at the Junior Nationals at Grey Rocks, Quebec (summer 2005).

I played John Boehm last year and he wore knee pads onto the court and instead of taking volleys during the warm up he asked me to give him drop shots so he could practice diving for the ball. It was the most fun I have ever had on the tennis court.

Top 16 at the 2005 U16 and U18 Outdoor Nationals. Making the semi-final at the 2005 Winnipeg Indoor Open while beating Mark Arndt (Rd of 16) and Jared Connell (quarter-final) who are both great players and who I have a great respect for.

My ambition is to win Junior Nationals in my final year of U18's and to receive a tennis scholarship to an awesome college in the United States.

    In 2005, Sean LaCap became the first Manitoba tennis player in more than 30 years to capture a National Junior Championship, winning the U16 Doubles title with his partner Philip Anderson from Nova Scotia. A week later Sean took home the Silver Medal at the U18 Doubles Nationals with his partner, Keziel Juneau of Repentigny, Quebec.

Chad and I were playing tennis with the Silvas when I received a lob. I tried to hit a "Tweener", so I ran hard, fast toward the baseline. When I approached the ball, I swung, and I hit something!! But, for some reason, the tennis ball kept bouncing in front of me. My last memory of that incident was of Cole standing on top of me laughing his head off!!

U16 National Doubles Champion in 2005, U18 National Doubles Runner-up in 2005, Team Canada: 2001, 2003.
