Winnipeg, MB (TM)
– The starting lineup has been officially chosen for
the 2011 Western Canada Summer Games Team. A team made
up of 6 boys and 4 girls will be representing Team Manitoba
in Kamloops, BC from August 5-14.
The team is comprised of:
- boys singles: Patrick Fu
- girls singles: Hannah Blatt
- boys doubles: Earinpreet Hirkewal and Micheal
Corrigan
- girls doubles: Emily Fridrik and Kylie Waschuk
- mixed doubles: Cole Lacap and Diorelle Rosario
- wheelchair singles: Samuel Enrau
- wheelchair doubles: Jayson Botham and Samuel
Enrau
Head coach Peter Otto hopes to continue his Western
Games success with this young team. In 2007 the Team
'Toba won 7 metals, including silver in the team category.
