Dancevic, Polansky and Niemeyer Coming to Winnipeg

Canada’s top player on the ATP Tour, Frank Dancevic, headlines the group of players coming to the Winnipeg Winter Club on December 2nd for the 4th Annual Tennis Manitoba Awards Banquet and Hall of Fame Dinner. The event is again being dubbed Raising a Racquet for Kids, with all proceeds going toward the development of junior tennis in Manitoba.

Dancevic, a native of Niagara Falls, and Polansky, who hails from Thornhill, will be joined by Frederic Niemeyer and Martin Laurendeau for great representation from Canada’s Davis Cup team. They will be conducting a junior clinic and taking part in a Pro-Am event, before taking to the court in a Doubles Exhibition, which will begin at 6:00pm.

Bailey and LaCap Win Bronze Medal at Canada Games

After losing a tough 3 set semi-final match to Quebec, Sean Bailey and Chad LaCap were able to defeat Tobiasz Strozyk and Luke Manley of Alberta 6-3, 6-3 to win the Bronze Medal in Men’s Doubles at the Canada Summer Games in PEI.
