1st Serve1st Serve makes a comeback

Tennis Manitoba will be bringing back an old friend. Retired in October 2005, the Tennis Manitoba “First Serve” publication will be pressed back into action. However, the newsletter of old has gone through a substantial transformation into a glossy magazine. The initial spruced up issue will highlight profiles of those being honoured at the 2008 Tennis Manitoba Awards Banquet and Hall of Fame Dinner.

You can get you hands on a copy of the November 2008 “1st Serve” magazine on Wednesday, November 26th at the awards banquet being held at the Winnipeg Winter Club. Those unable to attend the banquet will be able to review an online copy posted to the Tennis Manitoba web site, or limited printed copies at Tennis Manitoba member clubs after the event. Tennis Manitoba would like to be in the position of mailing future issues directly to individuals who are registered Tennis Manitoba members. More details on how to become a subscriber will be released at a later date.

Those interested in advertising in the “1st Serve” magazine can contact Tennis Manitoba for rate details. The second issue is planned for early 2009 and is to cover the various Tennis Manitoba tour schedules as well as the new Tennis Canada Rogers Rankings system.
