Winnipeg, MB (TM) – Stephen Dubienski
defeated Roland Burrell 4-6, 6-2, 6-2 to repeat as the
Men’s Open Singles Champion at the Winnipeg Winter Club
Open. Dubienski lost only one set on the road to the
championship.
Evann Waschuk captured her second Open tournament
championship, outlasting Clarissa Chen 6-3, 1-6, 6-2
to win the Women’s Open Singles title.
Daniel Fraser beat Muzeen Ismath 6-4, 4-6, 6-3
to win the Men’s 4.5 Singles Championship and Galia
Pollock defeated Ileana Ursatanu 6-2, 6-2 to take
the Women’s 4.5 Singles Championship.
