Schools Program

Tennis Futures ProgramThe Tennis Manitoba Schools Program is targeted at children in elementary schools, but it can be accessed by junior high and senior high schools as well. The proper fundamentals are taught within a fun and playful environment. The program is designed by Tennis Canada and introduces the lifetime sport of tennis to children.

Tennis Manitoba’s Technical Director, a certified level II coach, conducts the tennis clinics in physical education classes using mini-nets, mini-racquets and sponge balls. The students receive instruction on the forehand, backhand, serve and volley, as well as the rules of tennis. Fun games are also incorporated. All equipment is supplied by Tennis Manitoba.

If you would like to introduce tennis to the children in your school please call 925-5660.
