Raising a Racquet for Kids
The Manitoba tennis community will
be Raising a Racquet for Kids on Wednesday, November
26th at the Winnipeg Winter Club as we gather to celebrate
the achievements of our top players and recognize the
outstanding contributions of our 2008 Manitoba Tennis
Hall of Fame inductees.
Continuing
on the successes of the 2006 and 2007 Tennis Manitoba
Awards Banquets, the Raising a Racquet for Kids
event will feature a doubles exhibition match with professional
ATP players Frank Dancevic, Philip Bester
and Ellis Ferreira. Additional activities include
a clinic for Manitoba’s top junior players and an opportunity
for individuals to participate in Pro-Am doubles matches.
Available positions for the Pro-Am play are limited
and can be purchased from Tennis Manitoba on a first
come basis.
