Certified Coaches
& Instructors
As the backbone of coaching/tennis
professional development in Canada, Tennis Canada uses
the National Coaching Certification Program in partnership
with the Provincial Tennis Associations to provide the
information and training necessary for coaches to meet
the needs of the tennis industry and develop successful
and rewarding careers.
Instructor Course Scheduled for April
& May
Anyone interested in teaching
tennis will want to register for the next Instructor
Course. This course is the first level of Tennis
Canada’s coaching certification program.
Individuals must be 15 years of age to take the
Instructor Course, which includes 35 hours of
instruction over two weekends. Course participants
are given both a practical and playing/demonstration
